Long Beach’s Cherry Park is where local skaters can hang out and skate some flat ground, ledges, manual pads and flat bars. It’s been a D.I.Y. skate spot for many years and it was time for a makeover. With help from professional skateboarder Geoff Rowley, the park has some new features like a step-down manual pad, fresh ledges, and a gap with a fire hydrant. The skate park just re-opened to the public and is skateable anytime of day.
